Sharifah's new album "uncovered" is set for digital release in the spring of 2009. This is Sharifah's second studio album since her demo release "Conversations In The Dark" or sometimes referred to as "Simiply Sharifah " in March of 05. For Sharifah's current release she has collaborated with Skully, Bones, Kenny Hawkins, and John Lee and has recorded in the legendary K-Music Studios. The first single from this new release; "Old Dirty Bastard," is heating up the airwaves on many radio formats.

Few artists have traveled so effortlessly from one artistic medium to another as Sharifah with her incredible array of talents as a movie actress, musical artist, and a fashion industry talent. Sharifah was born in Buffalo, NY on June 1st being the seventh of eight children. She has resided in Philadelphia, PA, Charlotte, NC and Los Angeles, CA before returning to her Small Hometown of Buffalo, NY. Aside from being an advocate for various causes stomping out various Children and Family problems including hunger, domestic violence and abuse, Sharifah has not forgotten her struggles and continues to reach for her dreams in becoming an example for those who dare to dream.

Sharifah's career is on the rise within Commercials, Television and Theatre productions. Since joining the team of "KamuChiSan Model & Talent Division," Sharifah has starred in various productions from Short Films "The Banshee" and "Hold, Go" to Television Pilots "Buffalo Soldiers" and has made numerous guest appearances on such Commercials and Print ads for companies like Blue Cross/Blue Shield, ECMC, Xavier's, Equal Opportunity Educational Center (EOC), Big Ideas, Kamuchisan, and various marketing campaigns; in addition, she has produced television talk shows and has appeared onstage in "Demons on trial", "A hell of a forecast" and "Ain 't I A Women" for Public Theatre's.
